Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Arcane Spire (the "Game"), provided by Regulus ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to play. If you are a minor, you may only play with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from.

3. Virtual items and currency

• The Game includes virtual currencies (e.g. coins, shards, gems) and virtual items (e.g. planets, upgrades, worlds). These have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are licensed to you — not sold.
• Virtual items are consumed within the Game and are generally non-refundable once granted, except where a refund is required by law or by the app store's policy.
• We may adjust, rebalance, or remove virtual items and game features at any time to maintain the Game.

4. Purchases

In-app purchases are sold and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms and refund policies apply to your transaction. Items are delivered to the account or device that made the purchase. Restore Purchases is available in the Game for eligible non-consumable items.

5. Advertising

The Game may offer optional rewarded ads. Watching an ad is always your choice; declining never blocks progress. Ads are served by third parties as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• cheat, use unauthorized third-party software, exploit bugs, or tamper with game data, scores, or purchases;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law;
• submit a leaderboard display name that is unlawful, offensive, impersonating, or infringing;
• disrupt the Game's servers or other players' use of the Game; or
• use the Game in violation of any applicable law.

We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend access for violations.

7. Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for activity under it. Account and leaderboard handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

The Game is provided on an ongoing basis but may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued in whole or in part at any time. We may modify features, content, and balance without notice.

9. Intellectual property

The Game, including its code, art, audio, and the "Arcane Spire" name and marks, is owned by Regulus and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license above, no rights are granted to you.

10. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Regulus will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, or virtual items, arising from your use of the Game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Regulus harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Game or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Regulus's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued play after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
